Ashley King – This is a hard question, because automatically, about 6463526474 different things start running through my head. I want to say my ability to multitask (only when I’m on it and not curled up on the couch doing sudoku thinking about 5 bazillion other things I need to be doing). I think that what I do is normal, but, so often, everyone around me says I make them nervous, anxious and tired just watching me juggle everything. I guess that’s a compliment? I also love the fact that I have a “hearing” superpower and can be involved in a phone conversation, watch tv and still know what you’re talking about in the other room. Dreaded kryptonite? Probably the self induced anxiety I cause when I procrastinate, however, that’s likely when you’ll get the best results…. Or maybe it’s when I start daydreaming when someone else is talking and I WANT to be listening, but I’m jumping all over the place in my head…. Or maybe…. Sean Vedell – Superpower – staying focused in a crisis while everyone else is losing their minds. The more chaotic things get the more focused I become.

Kimberly Wiltshire – Being a Macgyver when I put my mind to it is probably one of my best traits whether it be cooking, creative endeavors, boring tasks, all of it. Next to my capacity to love and connect to animals. My worst or most daunting is the sensory overload, people popping their gum, smacking their food, smell-gag reflex, feeling peoples moods… the list goes on. Going through the day is a gauntlet of watch out, I am going to lose my rag if another person walks by me and pops their stupid gum. it’s exhausting.4 March at 12:54 · Like -
Kris Boston – My super power would have to be my creativity…as an artist/hairstylist it’s easy to submerge into my work as it’s never the same and it keeps me interesed. My Kryptonight would have to be my ability to procrastinate…sometimes I put it out of my hat sometimes I don’t ..for the times I don’t I have to live with the guilt…it’s a vicious circle!

Sandra Studley D’Acci Cardoza – My super power would have to be being the one who’s always there when someone’s in need and my Kryptonite is definitely the extreme disappointment when friends and loved ones don’t reciprocate. Hal Lewis – Superpower would be an extremely strong intuition and insight about other people and situations both good and bad as well as creative problem solving which usually involve putting out my own powers. Brenda Carney -My ADHD super power is that I am spontaneous, imaginative, and creative. This helps me keep my classroom of first graders (and myself) engaged and excited about learning. I always have little projects going on, and even though it can get overwhelming at times, I LOVE IT!! My kryptonite is when a project outlasts my attention span. Following through can be a killer. I also get depressed when I realize that I am forgetting all of the little details, showing up late to meetings, forgetting to send newsletters, etc. It builds up, and I feel like a failure.9 March at 09:17 · Like · 1 -
Angela Joe Holley – My emotions are like raw nerve endings that feel waaaay too much at times…pro:I can feel others pain and emotions and I am a very compassionate and empathetic person…con:I am overly sensitive and I can get my feelings hurt easily and it takes me some time to “get over it.” I can hyper-focus like no other…pro:I can kick butt when it comes to last minute productivity and my work is usually really great even if I am in a frenzy while completing…con:I am exhausted and want to crawl into my bed and go into a “nothing box” for about 2-3 days! Another con to hyper-focus, I over analyze every aspect of my life to the point of anxiety or being overwhelmed and having extreme confusion because I am having a hard time making a decision…to name a few!~9 March at 12:45 · Like -

2. ability to recover readily from illness, depression, adversity, or the like; buoyancy.It is most definitely a ‘superpower’!! I don’t know anyone that has ADHD that isn’t resilient. How many times have we suffered a setback in life? For some people with ADHD, setbacks occur nearly every day. Although ADHD should be a manageable condition, some see it as their nemesis. It doesn’t have to be that way.Any ‘normal’ person would have taken a mental breakdown by now – but not me, not us.My pursuit of a better education, a better job and an overhaul of my finances have always eluded me – so far! Though I have never given up hope, it is the latter that I am focusing on at the moment.My Kryptonite is having too many projects on the go at once. I never seem to get any of them finished! I am impatient and want everything at once!

Sugar Magnolia – My greatest AD/HD superpower is my ability to handle major crises with grace. It’s the little stuff that drives me nuts, but I think freaking out at the little stuff takes my angst from me, freeing me up for dealing with the big stuff??? It so hard to pick just one, I can do several different things at once and do them all well (at least I think I do) I can be driving down the eway at 70mph and spot a hawk flying in the distance and identify the species. I have a weird thing with numbers I can remember a long sequences of numbers after hearing or reading it one time but brother compared me to rainman growing up, but if you tell me your name I probably have already forgotten it before you finish. I have a heart of gold and I am usually the first one there for someone I believe needs a shoulder to cry on, a ear to listen to there worries, I will give everything I have if I think someone needs it my last dollar or the jacket off my back which is not a bad thing but is usually the biggest cause of my heartbreak and pain, but I dont think I could turn my back on someone in need so I continue to give and give frequently to my own demise which is definately my major kryptonite, I never think of how things might affect me I only worry myself with what could happen if I dont help.

This is very enlightening. I’ve been following on Facebook for a while but only not I found the blog.
It seems that we all have in common being able to multitask (Duh!), and we’re all very compassionate and empathetic.
Also, not a surprise, most of us have trouble with paperwork. I can’t handle it. It is a great source of anxiety for me and it never gets done. Tax season is the worse. But any kind of paperwork is overwhelming for me.
What about you? You didn’t tell us in this post
